Experience
Leah started baking and cooking at age three. She was discouraged from attending culinary school and instead went on to gain a degree in Education. She found her way back to cooking through teaching cooking classes to her students. From there, she began recipe developing and food photography for About.com, which then became The Spruce Eats. Leah gained experience in a wide range of foods from vegan cheesesteaks to the perfect cheesecake. She began working in food photography for local restaurants and has loved combining her passions of teaching, food, and photography.
Education
Leah earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Special Education at Marist College.
