Ingredients
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
Directions
  1. Crack an egg into a fine-meshed sieve and strain it to drain any excess moisture in the white. Put the egg into a ramekin or a cup.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the vinegar to the water.
  3. Using a whisk, swirl the water into a vortex.
  4. Pour the egg into the water vortex and cook it for 3 minutes.
  5. Remove the egg from the water with a slotted spoon.
  6. Blot the wet poached egg with a paper towel.
