Hearty Black Bean Burger Recipe

Ingredients
½ onion, roughly chopped
3 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
2 (14-ounce) cans black beans
¾ cup rolled oats
1 large egg
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder mix
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
3 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
Add the onion and garlic to a food processor and blitz until broken down.
Add all remaining ingredients, except for the olive oil, to the food processor and blend again until well combined.
Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to allow the oats to soak up some of the liquid.
Shape the mixture into 5 burger patties.
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan on a medium setting.
Fry the burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through.
