Make-Ahead Ginger Root Wellness Shots Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2-x 2-inch piece of ginger root
  • 6 lemons
Directions
  1. Using a potato peeler, peel the ginger. Optionally use a sharp paring knife to remove any peel that is in the ginger's crevasses.
  2. If the lemons are firm, roll them on the counter with your hand to soften them up. Cut in half, and juice them into a blender container.
  3. Blend the peeled ginger and the lemon on high for at least 3 minutes. Check to make sure the ginger has completely blended.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray with 12 slots. Cover, and freeze for at least 6 hours. Then, when ready to consume, drop 1 cube into a mug, and add hot water. Stir to dissolve, and drink immediately.
