Mint Limeade Recipe

Ingredients
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 10 limes, or 1 cup of lime juice, plus lime wedges to garnish
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 4 sprigs of mint, to garnish
Directions
  1. Pour the sugar into a large pitcher or bowl, and add the hot water. Stir to dissolve.
  2. Cut the limes in half, and juice them into a measuring cup. Juice until you reach 1 cup. If any seeds have made it into the mixture, remove them.
  3. Add the lime juice to the water and sugar mixture. Stir in the cold water.
  4. Put the mixture into the fridge to cool for 1 hour. Then add ice, mint sprigs, and extra lime slices.
