  • 2 medium eggs, room temperature
Directions
  1. In a small saucepan, pour just enough water to cover the eggs, and bring the water to a gentle simmer.
  2. Lower the eggs into the water using a spoon to make sure they don't crack.
  3. As soon as the eggs go into the water, start a timer for 6 minutes. After that, remove the eggs from the saucepan, place them into a small bowl, and cover them with cold water.
  4. Let cool for 2 minutes before serving.
