Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 lemon or orange slice
  • 1 ½ ounces spiced rum
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
Directions
  1. Whisk the cinnamon and sugar together on a small plate.
  2. Run the citrus slice across the rim of your serving glass, then firmly dip the rim into the cinnamon sugar to coat. Set aside.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then pour in the rum, Cointreau, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  4. Shake until chilled, about 15 seconds.
  5. Fine strain the cocktail into the prepared glass. Garnish with an orange spiral.
