In a medium bowl combine the warm water and the yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes to get bubbly.
In a large bowl combine 3 cups of flour, salt, 1 tablespoon of oil, and the yeast mixture. Once blended in the bowl, remove and place on a large work surface. Begin adding the remaining flour a little bit at a time while kneading for about 10 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon of oil to a large glass bowl and coat all the sides. Place the dough ball into the bowl, cover it with saran wrap, and let it rest in a warm spot for one hour.
Spread the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil on a large sheet pan. Place the dough ball on the sheet pan and spread it with your hands toward the edges of the pan. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and let it sit for 2 hours. When it's done resting, stretch the dough with your hands to the edges of the sheet pan. About 10 minutes before the next step preheat your oven to 450 F.
Top the dough with the sauce and cheese. Bake the pizza in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the edges are browned. Cut the basil into slivers and add to the pizza. Cut the pizza into square slices and serve.
