Garlic-Mashed Sweet Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients
2 large, sweet potatoes
4 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon milk
3 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ cup fresh, flat leaf parsley
Directions
Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into ½-inch cubes. Put them into a large pot and cover with water.
Bring the pot to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, and cook for 10 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender and soft.
Drain well and return them to the pot. Using a potato masher, mash the sweet potatoes to your desired consistency.
Crush the garlic with a garlic press and add that to the pot with the milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Transfer to a serving dish and top with chopped parsley, then serve.
