Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • 1 lime, divided
  • ½ pound frozen strawberries
  • ⅓ cup tequila
  • 2 tablespoons Cointreau or similar orange liqueur
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ cup lime juice
Directions
  1. If using, crush the freeze-dried strawberries or raspberries into fine crumbs. In a dish that is wider than the serving glass, combine the crushed berries and salt.
  2. Take a lime wedge and run it along the rim of each glass, then dip the top of the glass upside-down into the berry/salt mixture, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  3. Into a blender, combine the frozen strawberries, tequila, Cointreau, honey, and lime juice. Blend the mixture until it becomes completely smooth.
  4. Pour the margarita mixture into each glass with the salted rim, and adorn with a strawberry and lime wedge for decoration. Serve right away.
