Italian Sausage Balls with Bisquick Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound mild or hot Italian sausage
  • 8 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • ¼ cup chopped scallions
  • ½ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup hot honey
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F. Line a baking sheet with foil and grease with cooking spray.
  2. Add Bisquick, paprika, garlic powder, and salt to a large mixing bowl. Whisk together.
  3. Add the sausage, cheese, parsley, scallions, and milk. Stir together with a wooden spoon until combined.
  4. Divide the mixture into 24 pieces and roll into an even ball, about 2 inches each (around the size of a golf ball).
  5. Place the sausage balls on the baking sheet, leaving an inch of space between.
  6. Bake for 20-22 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Prepare the dipping sauce: add mayonnaise, mustard, and honey to a small bowl and stir together.
  8. Serve the warm sausage balls on a platter with the honey mustard.
