Hot Mulled Mead Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups mead
2 ounces brandy
½ teaspoon whole allspice
½ teaspoon whole cloves
10 cardamom pods, divided
2-inch piece ginger
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon fresh nutmeg
½ orange
1 teaspoon honey
2 dried orange slices
Directions
Pour the mead and brandy to a large pot.
Add the allspice, cloves, and 4 cardamom pods.
Add the ginger and cinnamon stick.
Grate fresh nutmeg into the pot.
Squeeze in the orange juice.
Drizzle in the honey.
Bring ingredients to a simmer on the stove for 10 minutes then remove from heat.
Strain the liquid through a mesh strainer and pour into glasses.
Garnish each glass with a dried orange slice and the remaining cardamom pods, then serve.
