Smoky French 75 Winter Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ ounces tequila
  • ½ ounce Armagnac
  • ½ ounce red vermouth
  • ½ ounce Cointreau
  • 2 ounces Champagne
  • 1 splash absinthe
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Lemon curls
Directions
  1. Add tequila, Armagnac, red vermouth, and Cointreau to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled Champagne flute.
  4. Top with Champagne.
  5. Float the absinthe on top by pouring it gently over an upside-down bar spoon.
  6. Add 2 dashes of orange bitters on top.
  7. Garnish with lemon curls to serve.
