Air Fryer Ginger Cinnamon Apples Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 large Fuji or Honeycrisp apples
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown or coconut sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger root
  • ¼ teaspoon powdered ginger
Directions
  1. Cut the apples into ½-inch slices and place in a medium bowl.
  2. Melt the butter in a small pot.
  3. Add the sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, grated ginger, and powdered ginger. Stir.
  4. Add the butter-and-sugar mixture to the apples and toss to combine.
  5. Lay the apples in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may have to work in batches.
  6. Cook at 375 F for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve the apples, topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired.
