Orange Creamsicle Cookies With White Chocolate Drizzle Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
Directions
  1. Cream the butter, orange zest, and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
  3. Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  5. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Portion the dough into 12 roughly golf ball–sized cookies and place the cookies on the baking sheet, 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 13–14 minutes. Let cool.
  8. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and add it to a resealable plastic bag.
  9. Snip the corner of the bag and gently squeeze the bag to drizzle melted white chocolate over the cookies.
  10. Let the chocolate set for 10 minutes.
  11. Serve, and enjoy.
