Bourbon-Glazed Baked Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients
¾ cup bourbon
1 cup dark brown sugar
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 ½ pounds chicken wings
2 scallions, thinly sliced
Directions
To make the marinade, combine bourbon, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger, paprika, and cayenne.
Reserve ⅓ of the marinade for glaze.
In a large bowl, combine the rest of the marinade and the chicken wings.
Cover and marinate the wings for 4 hours or overnight.
Preheat the oven to 400 F.
Place a wire rack over a baking sheet.
Arrange the wings on the rack.
Pat them dry with paper towels and bake for 40 minutes, turning halfway.
Transfer reserved marinade to a saucepan.
Cook on medium heat for about 15 minutes, until it reduces in half.
Brush the wings with glaze, and bake them for 5 more minutes.
Garnish with scallions and serve immediately.
