5-Ingredient Chipotle Mayo Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (7-ounce) can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
Directions
  1. Remove 2 chipotle peppers from the can and place them in a food processor. (The seeds are the hottest part so if you want the sauce less spicy, remove some or all of the seeds first, or start with just 1 pepper and taste before adding another.)
  2. Scoop out 1 tablespoon of the adobo sauce from the can and add it to the food processor.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the food processor.
  4. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides of the food processor as necessary. Taste and adjust for seasoning if desired.
  5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
