- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons ground coffee
- 1 ½ cups whole milk
- 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup sugar
- Boil 1 cup water and pour it over coffee grounds in a french press or coffee maker. Put the cup of coffee in the refrigerator to cool.
- In the meantime, add milk, cream, and sugar to a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Once the coffee is cool, add it to the milk mixture. Whisk to combine.
- Add the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn for 20 minutes.
- Place the mixer bowl in the freezer and allow the gelato to chill for two hours.
- After the gelato has chilled, serve and enjoy.
