Coffee Gelato Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons ground coffee
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup sugar
Directions
  1. Boil 1 cup water and pour it over coffee grounds in a french press or coffee maker. Put the cup of coffee in the refrigerator to cool.
  2. In the meantime, add milk, cream, and sugar to a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
  3. Once the coffee is cool, add it to the milk mixture. Whisk to combine.
  4. Add the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn for 20 minutes.
  5. Place the mixer bowl in the freezer and allow the gelato to chill for two hours.
  6. After the gelato has chilled, serve and enjoy.
