French Strawberry Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 1 1/2 pounds strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
Directions
  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the softened cream cheese. Using the paddle attachment, mix until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the whipped topping. Switch to the whisk attachment, and whisk to combine.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into the graham cracker crust.
  4. In a small saucepan, add the strawberries, sugar, and cornstarch. Stir well.
  5. Cook over medium heat. Once liquid starts to form, lower the heat to low, and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Allow the strawberry mixture to completely cool. Then, pour it over the cream mixture.
  7. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving.
