Peppermint Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients
2 ¼ cups whole milk
2 ¾ cups heavy cream
1 ½ cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 cup crushed candy cane
Directions
In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients.
Stir the contents well with a whisk until the sugar is incorporated.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream machine and churn for 15 to 25 minutes.
Store the ice cream in the freezer for at least 4 hours to chill.
Top your scoop with crushed candy cane pieces if desired.
