Ingredients
  • 1 ounce apple brandy (preferably Laird's)
  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • ¼ ounce smoky Scotch whisky (preferably Laphroaig 10 Year)
  • 4 ounces Champagne, chilled
  • Lemon twist, for garnish
Directions
  1. In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, combine the apple brandy, lemon juice, simple syrup and Scotch. Shake until chilled, then strain into a flute. Top with Champagne and garnish with a lemon twist, then serve.
