¼ pound Parmigiano-Reggiano, cut into ½-inch by ¼-inch rectangles
24 3-inch strips of very thinly sliced bacon
5 leaves flat leaf parsley
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°. Stuff each date with a piece of Parmigiano-Reggiano. Tightly wrap each date with a slice of bacon.
Place the bacon-wrapped dates on a baking sheet and transfer to the oven. Bake until the bacon is golden brown and crispy, 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle the dates with the parsley leaves and serve.
