Pizza Bouquets And Boutonnieres
Something old, something new and also something greasy
The key to a successful wedding? Incorporate personal things you love in the ceremony, whether it's family, friends or a shout-out to your favorite pop culture icon. And now, thanks to the cheesy geniuses at New York's Villa Italian Kitchen, you can add pizza to that list.
Sure, lovers of the slice will have to take care of the family-and-friends thing on their own, but they'll rest easy knowing that the restaurant chain is, in fact, offering honest-to-goodness pizza bouquets and boutonnieres to brides and grooms this summer.
These edible wedding accessories are made of dough, 100 percent whole-milk mozzarella, tomatoes and pepperoni. The restaurant chain, which has 250 locations, spoke to Food & Wine, saying "Perfect for any couple looking to add some fun and flavor to their big day, the Pizza Bouquet and Boutonniere feature beautiful and delicate floral details hand-crafted by New York City food-stylist, Jessie Bearden."
If you're hoping to catch one of these bouquets, you'll have to sign up at the Villa Italian Kitchen website for a chance to be a selected entrant from 48 states. It's worth noting that your wedding date must also fall before September 30.
If you don't win, you'll receive a coupon for a free slice of Neapolitan cheese pizza, which, if you love pizza enough, would make for a big day anyway.
