Easy Dewberry Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients
cooking spray
2 1/2 cups frozen dewberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup whole milk
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Heat the berries and sugar in a large stockpot over medium heat until the berries just start to become syrupy.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, milk and melted butter.
Pour the flour and butter mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Spoon the warm berries over the batter.
Bake in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes, until the filling is bubbling.
If desired, top with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or Bavarian cream, and serve warm.
