Buttermilk Belgian Waffles Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ¾ cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 ¾ cups buttermilk
  • 1 stick salted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
  1. In a large bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  2. Whisk until combined.
  3. Plug in the waffle maker. Spray with nonstick cooking spray. Using a ladle, scoop the batter into the waffle maker. Close the waffle maker and cook according to the appliance directions, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Open up the waffle maker and remove the waffle. Repeat with the remaining batter. Spray with nonstick cooking spray between each waffle.
  5. Serve waffles with butter, berries, and syrup, if desired.
