- ⅔ cup Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup fresh basil, chopped, divided
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- Mix the lemon zest, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Drain the cooked pasta and put it back in the pot.
- Add the lemon dressing, Parmesan cheese, and ¼ cup basil. Stir to combine.
- Use the reserved basil to top the pasta right before serving.
