BBQ Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • ¾ cup shredded Parmesan cheese + more for garnish
  • 1 ½ cups barbecue sauce, divided
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • garlic salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, onion, Parmesan cheese, ¾ cup of barbecue sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic salt, and pepper. Mix together until well incorporated. Form the meat into large balls.
  3. Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Place each meatball onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the oven for 30 minutes.
  5. After baking, remove the meatballs from the oven and brush them with the remaining barbecue sauce.
  6. Serve with rice, potatoes, or toast and garnish with additional shredded Parmesan cheese and chopped chives if desired.
