Easy Alfredo Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound pasta
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, for garnish
Directions
  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Add 1 stick of butter and 1 cup of heavy cream to a large skillet over medium heat, and allow the butter to melt.
  3. Simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, and 2 cups of Parmesan cheese to the pan and whisk until the cheese has melted.
  5. Serve the sauce over cooked pasta and top with 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley.
