Classic Pimento Cheese Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 (2-ounce) jar pimentos, drained
Directions
  1. Fry the bacon until crisp.
  2. Drain the bacon on paper towels, then crumble.
  3. Combine all of the ingredients except the pimentos and beat until combined.
  4. Stir the pimentos into the cheese mixture until just combined.
  5. Refrigerate the pimento cheese until ready to use.
