- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the red wine, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and beef drippings. Whisk until combined.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- Taste the au jus and add salt and pepper if needed.
