This two-ingredient cocktail is a 1-to-1 or 2-to-1 blend of Scotch and Drambuie, a golden-colored liqueur made out of Scotch whisky, heather honey, herbs, and spices.
Sinatra bought these cookies at Veniero’s, a family-owned Italian bakery. Originating from Sicily, they are crunchy, nutty, lemony, and covered in sesame seeds.
They are made with a shortcrust dough made with flour, sugar, butter, and egg and infused with lemon or orange zest. They are enjoyed with coffee, tea, or sweet wine.
Sinatra loved this whiskey so much that he was buried with a flask in 1998. His affinity for the brand began in 1947 when it was introduced to him by Jackie Gleason.
Sinatra was a fan of this comfort dish made with veal cutlets, tenderized and coated in flour and egg wash before being coated in breadcrumbs, parmesan, and herbs.
