A Bottle Of Scotch Was Babe Ruth's Liquor Of Choice

A man of prodigious appetites by any measure, baseball legend Babe Ruth was also a lover of Scotch whisky, especially Dewar's Scotch whiskey, which was a regular part of his day.
Due to his passion for the liquor, opposing players were sometimes sent to keep him up late drinking it the night before games. This fondness continued even after his retirement.
As his daughter noted, a golf outing started with two or three Scotches before heading out, a few more at the halfway point, and at least one more at the end to celebrate success.
