A Tortilla Is The Key For The Easiest, Cheesiest Garlic Bread
BY JULIA HOLLAND
Tortillas are a given when making Mexican food, but the humble flour tortilla has many uses across the culinary spectrum, like forming the base of a delicious garlic “bread.”
Flour tortillas have a neutral flavor that pairs well with cheese and garlic, and you can layer up tortillas to get as thick of a “bread” base as you desire.
Spread garlic butter over a tortilla and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella. Top with a second tortilla and more butter and cheese before air frying or baking.
The resulting garlic “bread” has crispy edges and a gooey, cheesy center. Upgrade the simple snack with fresh seasonings, protein, veggies, pasta sauce, or different cheeses.
