Canned Tuna And Butter Are All You Need For This Easy Italian Pasta Dish
BY CHLOE O'DONNELL
Spaghetti tonno e burro is a delicious and super simple Italian pasta that can feed a crowd in a flash. All you need is spaghetti, canned tuna, and butter.
Boil your spaghetti in salted water according to the time on the package. A pound of spaghetti should be enough to feed a family of four and leave you with plenty of leftovers.
Mix two cans of tuna, sliced unsalted butter, and black pepper in a bowl. Oil-packed tuna works best for this recipe, as it has a richer flavor and adheres well to the pasta.
Once your spaghetti is al dente, add it to the bowl with the other ingredients. Use tongs or another utensil to mix everything together until the tuna and butter form a sauce.
Add water or more butter to help the sauce come together, and season with salt and pepper. Top it with freshly chopped herbs, a sprinkle of cheese, or a splash of lemon and enjoy.
