Does The Coffee Syrup At Dunkin' Contain Caffeine?

At Dunkin Donuts, coffee swirl syrup is used to flavor their frozen coffee drinks that don't contain brewed coffee. However, the syrup itself has coffee as its key ingredient.
The coffee swirl syrup consists of water, sugar, xanthan gum, a few preservatives, and coffee. It is essentially a sugary coffee concentrate with significant caffeine levels.
A small frozen coffee contains 196 mg of caffeine, while a 32-ounce large has 393 mg. These are nearly the same amount of caffeine in Dunkin's iced coffee drinks.
