Sour cream donuts taste tangy, moist, and complex, with a chewy texture that isn’t dense. They are made by working sour cream into the wet ingredients of classic donut batter.
Once fried, they become cakier and crisper than regular glazed donuts, with the sour cream keeping them from tasting too "fried." They’re lightly glazed for some sweet moisture.
