How Long Does An Opened Pack Of Hot Dogs Last In The Fridge?

An opened package of hotdogs will stay fresh for up to a week in the refrigerator when stored in an airtight plastic bag.
If you have any doubt, use your sense of smell and touch to see if the hot dogs should be tossed. If they have a sour smell or are slimy to the touch, do not eat them.
If you won't eat the remaining hot dogs within a week, freeze them. They will stay good for up to two months in the freezer when stored in a freezer-safe container.
For safe thawing, place frozen hot dogs in the fridge for 24 hours. If you're in a rush, submerge them in cool water for around 30 minutes, ensuring the bag remains sealed.
