Popeyes' Head Chef Can't Get Enough Of This Costco Frozen Seafood

As Amy Alarcon, the Head Chef at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, told The Kitchn, one Costco frozen seafood she can’t get enough of is the Kirkland Signature raw sea scallops.
Speaking of the frozen seafood item, which comes in 2-pound bags containing 30 to 40 scallops, Alarcon said, "The frozen scallops are amazing — huge, killer flavor, great texture."
She added, "You keep them in the freezer so you just pull them as needed. You would hardly know they were frozen. A great staple to keep for a quick and easy dinner."
With one bag costing under $50, each huge scallop is about a little over a dollar. Once properly stored and frozen, these scallops can last for six to 12 months.
