Popular Chains That Serve Fresh, Never Frozen, Food

Wendy's
Wendy's founder, David Thomas, wanted to provide quality, fresh hamburgers. Thomas decided the burgers should be made from 100% real beef and never be frozen.
The chain uses beef sourced from Beef Quality Assurance certified farmers, who use sustainable efforts to produce the meat and ensure that the cattle are treated humanely.
Chipotle
Tex-Mex chain Chipotle holds strong values regarding the quality of its food. Every single item on the menu at Chipotle never touches a freezer.
The company sources and prepares the food in a way that's good for the environment and its customers by never adding artificial ingredients, preservatives, or hormones.
Shake Shack
While it's pricier than others, Shake Shack stands out as it's one of the few burger chains offering fresh, never frozen hamburger and chicken meat.
The menu states that their humanely raised beef is never frozen and has no hormones or antibiotics. Their chicken section makes a similar claim.
Domino's
Domino's makes its pizza dough completely fresh every single day. The reason for this is that frozen dough doesn't rise properly.
The popular fast-food pizza chain makes its dough off-site. The dough is rolled into specially measured balls before it's shipped to each Domino's location.
In-N-Out
In-N-Out Burger boasts, “We make things the old-fashioned way.” Not a single food item from the chain is ever frozen, as there are no freezers at any location.
The burgers are made from premium cattle, individually inspected, and ground on-site. The French fries are actually cut and fried in each individual location.
