Ranking Every Kinder's Seasoning At Costco
BY Emily Hunt
13. Buttery Garlic & Herb
The individual flavors in this one are good, but the ratios aren't perfect. Its saltiness is amplified by its buttery-ness, overpowering any herbs present.
12. Garlic Parmesan
This seasoning packed a punch of flavor that wasn't entirely unwelcome but tasted slightly artificial. The garlic in it is very potent, and it tastes too salty.
It’s difficult to identify any notes of interest other than garlic salt, and the parmesan took a backseat as well. Too much of it can easily overpower other flavors in your recipe.
11. Lemon Pepper
Kinder's Lemon Pepper doesn't feel like an all-purpose seasoning, so you might only use it occasionally. However, it's finely ground and very zesty in a great way.
Its sugar nicely balances the mild bitterness from the lemon peel. The blend tastes like it was made for seafood, but it might not work well on other cuts of meat.
10. Red Jalapeño Garlic
The spiciness from the jalapeño in this one hits head-on at the end of the bite, making it difficult to taste many other notes for people sensitive to spice.
You can taste the garlic in it, but it has no jalapeño flavor aside from the spice. Using the milder green jalapeños instead of red ones could have helped the flavor shine through.
9. All Purpose
This one is subtle and mildly spicy. It can add a nice zing to any recipe and boasts notes of garlic, onion, and chili, but the paprika is strong, and it’s too salty.
