Ranking Store-Bought Italian Salad Dressing From Worst To Best

12. Signature Select
Although it makes sense to buy a generic product, Signature Select's Italian dressing and marinade prove that isn't always the case despite its appealing color.
With sugar being its first ingredient, you can immediately taste the sweetness. The ingredient also doesn't integrate well with the other components.
11. Open Nature
Open Nature's Italian-style dressing may have a fancy bottle and a name that suggests it's a healthier option, but the quality of the dressing isn't great.
The dressing is very oily, and the other flavors in the mix taste muted. The dressing's only interesting element is a distinct sweetness, which does detract from the product.
10. Primal Kitchen
Avocado oil is the base of Primal Kitchen's Italian dressing and marinade; however, the niche oil's results aren't necessarily good.
You need to shake the bottle to integrate all of the dressing's elements, which can then separate quickly. Even when they do mix well, the dressing is far too acidic.
9. Drew's Organics
While many enjoy an intense acidic salad dressing for their zing, Drew's Organics classic Italian dressing and quick marinade is too much.
The acidity is searing — so much so that it makes it difficult to taste much of anything else. The other flavors in the dressing are also not well-integrated.
8. Kraft Zesty
Kraft's zesty Italian dressing is a simple vinaigrette dressing with some acidity, texture from the oil, and herbs and spices that bring the flavors together.
However, some might find the dressing to be too oily. If you're looking for a solid, basic dressing, Kraft's zesty Italian isn't likely to disappoint.
