By KATHERINE BECK
Starbucks is bringing back six festive drinks this holiday season, including one drink that will achieve its 20th anniversary of being served at the chain. The coffee giant also unveiled its new red cup design, a new at-home coffee flavor, and seasonal snacks such as the Reindeer Cake Pop, Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, and Snowman Cookie.
The Peppermint Mocha, made of espresso, steamed milk, mocha sauce, and peppermint syrup, is returning for its 20th year. Other espresso drinks include the Caramel Brulée Latte, with a caramel brulée sauce and a caramel brulée candy topping, and the chestnut and spice-flavored Chestnut Praline Latte, topped with caramelized chestnuts.
The Toasted White Chocolate Mocha features caramelized white chocolate mocha sauce, holiday sugar sparkles and crispy white pearls. Lastly, we have the Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte with sugar cookie syrup, almond milk, blonde espresso, and red and green sprinkles, and the Irish Cream Cold Brew with Irish cream syrup, vanilla sweet cream foam, and cocoa powder on top.
