The 2 Cookies Duff Goldman Loves To Bake In A Hurry

Duff Goldman is known for elaborate cakes, but when baking cookies, he keeps it quick and simple with two easy recipes, one of which is for thin chocolate chip cookies.

Goldman told Insider that his thin and crispy chocolate chip cookies are delicious and easy to make, following a recipe that's been passed down through generations.

The dough is made with light brown sugar, unsalted butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, flour, salt, baking soda, and chocolate chips, and the cookies are baked at 375 degrees F.

Goldman adds, "Another perfect recipe that doesn't take long is this one for peanut butter cookies, which is adapted from a recipe from my grandmother's housekeeper, Atha."

The peanut butter cookies are made with butter, sugar, molasses, crunchy peanut butter, vanilla extract, eggs, baking powder, baking soda, kosher salt, and all-purpose flour.

The dough ingredients are combined and then the cookies are baked at 375 degrees F. They'll undoubtedly be delicious, though Goldman claims his grandmothers’ are better than his.
