The Best Ways To Reheat Quiche
By MOLLY HARRIS
According to Pantry and Larder, the oven or toaster will get you the best results with their ability to heat the quiche evenly without burning or drying out. Simply place the whole quiche on an oven-safe wire rack in an oven set to 350 F for 20 minutes, and place aluminum foil over it so it can reheat through trapped steam and doesn’t burn.
For individual slices, Pantry and Larder recommends the air fryer for its quick cooking time and better results than what you’d get with a microwave, but you need to look out for the pastry becoming too dry or crispy. Preheat the fryer to 300 F and cook for 4 to 7 minutes, and check that the pastry and the egg filling are both hot before serving.
While the microwave isn’t the best option for reheating your quiche, First for Women recommends that if you have to, just reduce its power to 50% or to low or medium. Heat the dish for 2 to 3 minutes and then continue for 30 second intervals until the quiche is warm and the eggs aren’t rubbery.
