To order a customized beverage at Starbucks in a way that ensures you get exactly what you want, start by specifying whether you want it hot or cold, as each uses different cups.
Next, select one of the five cup size options: Short, Tall, Grande, Venti, or Trenta. Let the barista know if you want decaf, or if you want more or less espresso shots.
Then, choose the syrup flavor, number of pumps, and your milk preference. Follow this up with additional customizations, such as foam level, extra ice, or specific temperatures.
Finally, state the drink type, such as Frappuccino or Caramel Macchiato. Even if you're just tweaking a few things, nailing the order can make it a lot easier for your barista.
