The Frozen Meal At Costco You Should Totally Leave Alone

The loser in Tasting Table’s ranking of 9 Costco frozen meals, Marie Callender's chicken pot pie has all the right elements of a classic chicken pot pie but still fails to deliver.
It comprises chicken chunks, carrots, celery, and peas in a thick chicken broth encased in a wheat flour pie crust, the bottom of which lacked the structure to hold moist fillings.
We opted for oven-baking over microwaving for a crisper pie, but the bottom crust was soggy upon removal from the container, meaning the gravy leaked out as the pastry collapsed.
Plus, the veggies were too soft, and the chicken chunks were dry and dense, likely due to their large size. The top crust was crisp, but it didn't make up for the other failings.
