While you might expect that a celebrity chef prefers to dine at the most high-brow eateries, Ina Garten told Food Network that she and her husband would rather eat at a bar.
Garten explains that she doesn’t need a big, fancy menu if there’s something delicious to be found. Many bars have small menus, but this means that more care is put into each dish.
Depending on how busy the bar is, you may also be served faster than at a traditional restaurant, since you can immediately tell the bartender what you’d like when you sit down.
Bars are also nice for dinner dates, since you can sit next to your partner. With new, creative bars popping up around the world, you'll likely find one with great food and drinks.
