There are many ways to tenderize steak and other cuts of beef. One unexpected and delicious way is to use your favorite store-bought salad dressing as a meat marinade.
Store-bought salad dressing works well as a marinade for beef because of the three key acidic elements present in salad dressings: lemon juice, vinegar, and soy sauce.
It's simply a matter of finding a corresponding salad dressing containing one or all of these acidic ingredients to help tenderize whatever cut of beef you're cooking.
