The Umami-Packed Sauce That Uses 2 Basic Ingredients

One easy, two ingredient umami-rich sauce involves miso paste and tahini. Miso paste is salty and tangy, while tahini is savory, nutty, earthy, and slightly bitter.
Feel free to experiment with ratios, but remember that miso paste is very concentrated and will go a long way, so you might want to use less miso paste than tahini.
Start with 3 tablespoons of tahini and 1 tablespoon of miso paste and adjust to your preferences. Add a quarter-cup of water and mix thoroughly to thin out the sauce.
