The Wendy's Breakfast Sandwich That's A Total Waste Of Your Money

Although the sandwich sounds like a great concept on paper, Tasting Table found Wendy's Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant to be the chain's worst breakfast sandwich.
Wendy's website describes the chicken sandwich with Applewood smoked bacon on a flaky croissant bun with maple butter as "A little sweet. A little savory. A lot good."
However, Tasting Table's reviewer found the sandwich disappointing. The sandwich is unappetizingly sweet, its meat is too bland, and the "croissant" isn't really a croissant.
They wrote, "[T]he sandwich was sickeningly sweet ... There weren't nearly enough other flavors on this sandwich to balance out the overly sweet fake maple flavor."
